Compassionate Supported Living in Shropshire

Our supported living services strike a balance between independence and safety by giving our clients plenty of options while maintaining a 24-hour safety net.

  • We are able to source large shared properties for those want to meet new people and build essential life skills
  • If our client prefers a bit of extra space or support, we can also source single-occupancy flats and houses
  • As with all our care services, our supported living services are tailored to each person's individual goals to empower them to make choices about their everyday lives, from how they eat to how they spend their time

  • All our properties are staffed with fully-trained support workers 24-hours a day as standard, regardless of package requirements
  • We aim to house all our referrals within 4 weeks, getting our clients on the road to care as quickly as possible without cutting corners
  • Whatever the client's needs or story, we treat everyone with respect and value their choices. This creates a space that reinforces a positive self-image and reduces vulnerability.

…But we also do things a little differently

In the interest of our idea about supported living, we provide our clients not just with a gentle and supportive space but ways to build essential life skills and knowledge to carry them forward.

One of the main ways we do this is offering our clients the opportunity to earn accredited qualifications and take part in life skills workshops, thanks to our specialist in-house trainers, helping them to forge forwards to a fulfilling life. Whether they want to learn essential skills like cooking or professional knowledge that'll carry them forwards towards success, our specialist trainer equips our clients with real-world knowledge and practical confidence.

On the social front, our clients benefit from our experienced, trained and friendly activities coordinator.

They work on both a remote and regional level to give everybody the chance to build connections, make friends and enjoy social activities both inside and outside the community. There's no surer way to build confidence by making people feel included and welcome, and we aim to do just that.

Just some of the activities we arrange include:

Arts and crafts

Sports outings

Cooking classes

Film nights

Board game evenings

Trips out

Our staff also go through Oliver McGowan LD and Autism training,

ensuring we can support not only physical disabilities but clients that may have mental health concerns, learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge.
